THE LAURIE REPORT CONTINUED............

In January 2016, Scott Norwood will assume the CCM Leadership Team Leader Servant (Chair).  Mike Stacy, Nancy Knight, and I will retire from the CCM Leadership Team after serving for five or more years.  My heart-felt thanks for the many hours, ideas, prayers, caring, and fun we all shared during that time.

During the last four years CCMLT listened as God nudged us to change venues for many CCM events.  We changed locations of USA CCM Celebrations from Graceland University to Saints Grove Campgrounds in Oklahoma. We changed from asking one or two people to plan and execute CCM Celebrations, to forming Celebration teams who work together.  Thanks to all who have worked so hard to provide such wonderful Celebrations!  CCM Leadership Summits were held at Lake Doniphan Campgrounds, Hartselle Alabama, and Saints Grove.  These changes responded to the move of the Spirit as some chose to attend First People events, passed from this life to the next, and left Community of Christ. Holy Spirit met us in great power wherever the venue and we see an increased endowment as we, along with many who believe in Christ, experience greater levels of Holy Spirit in our Jesus-Centered gatherings.

In addition to these changes, we saw the continuation of Spiritual Encounter Weekends both in Hartselle Alabama and Camp Sionito Texas.  Many gatherings took place at Saint's Grove Oklahoma sponsored by the Tulsa CCC.  Mike and Barb Stelzer offered several Wholeness Workshops in Canada, Texas, and Missouri.  A local CCM expression, House Church, was started in Austin, Texas and a CCM service was started in Joplin, Missouri.  CCM hosted a booth at the 2013 World Conference and also a praise and worship service held at New Walnut Park congregation.  

CCM received an amazing gift, a CCM Blessing in 2015.  I hope you enjoy God's Spirit and sense His leadership and will for CCM.
